SAN RAMON, Calif., Aug. 6, 2024 – Valent U.S.A. LLC today announced John Smith as vice president of sales, effective July 22, 2024.

Smith joins Valent U.S.A. from Winfield United, the agriculture inputs subsidiary of Land O’ Lakes, where he served as director of Strategic Supplier Alliances and Procurement. He joined Winfield United in 2020 after a 32-year career at Bayer Crop Science, where he held various domestic and international positions in sales, marketing, and commercial leadership roles.
